    Thank you for your comment about the facilities for patients with mental health problems in the hospital’s Emergency Department. This is a difficult situation to solve as the department is very busy and is not an easy environment to be in when you are mentally unwell. The small room is provided to give patients some quiet space away from everyone and where they can be interviewed in private to discuss their concerns. Unfortunately, it is quite a bare room due to necessity but we are in the process of reviewing that area and seeing if there is anything that can be done to enhance the area for the patient and make it more appropriate for the patients using this facility.
