• Fast turnaround for urgent prescription

  I rang Orchard Surgery and explained to the receptionist that I was flying out to Berlin in a couple of days and I had forgotten to order my repeat prescription for painkillers. She was very helpful and she would treat it as urgent and pass my message through to the prescription department straight away. Within about an hour I received a text message from Cat, the prescription department manager to say she had sorted my prescription out and authorised Tesco pharmacy, Dereham to package up my prescription. By the time I got to Tesco, my prescription was ready. I am so impressed and very pleased with the patient care shown by Orchard Surgery, Dereham and also the great teamwork between themselves and Tesco pharmacy.

  As somebody who is going a bit deaf it is nice that there is an online booking system as an alternative to using the telephone. It works well and follow up replies to queries and been impressively swift.

  I called Orchard at 8am and got a telephone appointment to speak to a dr. The dr called me and was so kind and helpful to my situation. She really did listen to me and support me I cannot thank Orchard surgery and the drs enough as always 5 star care given to me. Thank you!

  I have been having an ongoing battle with getting the right support and help for my daughter. This past week cleo has rang me everyday with updates, chased the duty doctor and made me feel heard.i honestly can not thank cleo enough. She has helped me so much this past week and after hearing from the doc today she has potentially saved my daughter being hospitalalized. All thanks to cleo! Not just a receptionist!

  So helpful! Can’t thank you enough for the help my boyfriend and I received today! He was in a bad way and the team managed to get him seen to and sorted him out! It has meant so much knowing your all so supportive! Thank you

  I came to see Nurse Jen. I can honestly say I have never felt so well cared for. She has sorted out a problem that I have had for at least 10 years, I now have never felt so well. Please Orchard Surgery you must not let Nurse Jen leave. I am so grateful to her.

  Visited surgery for help with an infected finger. Reception team very helpful and knowledgeable. Was seen for a quick assessment by senior clinician who was friendly , efficient and also knowledgable. Prescription organised to be collected from pharmacy later. Thank you Orchard Surgery.

  Big thank you to Orchard surgery today. Called at around 15:50pm as my son who is 7 months old became poorly over the last few days and had a bad temp & poor intake and output. Given an appointment within 15 minutes. Arrived and I was seen by a wonderful Dr who listened to me as a concerned parent and checked my son over from head to toe plus no rushing us. He took the time to diagnose my son and give him the correct treatment by also weighing him to see what treatment was correct for him and his weight. I really cannot thank you enough. always great help! Thank you from a worried mum x

  I’ve always been treated by friendly and caring professionals either by telephone or face to face appointments. I would particularly like to thank Dr Huckle for his professionalism, caring and friendly manner. A wonderful doctor. I have not yet met any other doctor but I have met a number of nurses and practice nurses who have all given me the same care and professionalism. All receptionists have also been very helpful whenever I have needed an appointment or other help. Thank you all.
