  The doctor and staff are very nice. There is plenty of room for people to sit apart in the waiting room. It was a very positive experience and a good outcome from the doctor.

• Concerned by not being seen

  I had an animal bite that looked quite infected so I went to the pharmacy, who told me that I should ring the GP. I rang the surgery and was told that no one could see me until the following day. I felt that it should have been treated with a bit more urgency because animal bites can be quite serious. I ended up at the walk-in centre in Norwich and they immediately gave me penicillin.

  The doctor I saw today was very kind and caring. It was also nice that the air-con was on inside because it was a very hot day.

• Impossible to get face-to-face appointment

  I attempted to book a face-to-face appointment for an 87-year-old lady who had been asked by one of the doctors to make an appointment to see him.. The receptionist initially told me that she would make a phone appointment. I told her the doctor had specifically asked the patient to make a face-to-face appointment. The receptionist then told me that she was registered at Hemsby, so I should call them to make an appointment. I repeated that the doctor who wanted to see her was at Ormsby and asked again for a face-to-face appointment. The receptionist said that the doctor had not mentioned in his notes that he wanted to see her and refused to make a face-to-face appointment. When I complained, she told me she would put the phone down, so I reluctantly requested a phone appointment. I was then told that the doctor would phone the elderly lady at some point but would not give me a time. Later that day, the doctor phoned the lady and made an appointment to see her at Hemsby in three days time, The receptionist also phoned her later to repeat what the doctor had said. I have no idea why she was so obstructive in the first place.

  Have asked repeatedly for a copy of the complaints procedure but none has been forthcoming. Complained over three months ago and still waiting to a very brief complaint or a timescale of when I will get a reply.

• Profoundly Deal in the right ear

  Requested a doctor appointment for ear infection. Seen by a practice nurse who recommended to purchase Ear Ease from the chemist. Infection got worse back to see a doctor who prescribed antibiotics. Infection didn't get better went to A&E and saw an ENT specialist who found the ear drum perforated and the result now profoundly deaf in this ear.

  The surgery is brilliant. I've never had any problems. Dentist next door is very convenient too. Receptionists are very helpful. You can walk in off the street and they will sort you out.

  I think they're very good. You can wait a while for appointments but will always get one. The staff are lovely.
