  emailed for repeat prescription and got one back to say i could pick it up in after 48hrs . then i see i had a new email to tell me it had not been done, so i tried to send on saturday when i see the new email but can not do any thing until the surgery opens on monday . why can i not send an email when the surgery is closed very poor

  Having recently moved into the area from Kent where our GP practice was superb, we were a little concerned about how well the Watton Practice would stack up. Both my wife and I have repeat prescriptions these were set up flawlessly. Any and all enquiries for assistance were responded to by polite professional and informed staff. I have yet to meet a physician but the administration team, reception team and nursing staff have been superb. Long may you all continue to provide such a valuable and important service. Outstanding thank you all.

• Computer talk

  We sent a request eventually for the results of a sample test. You sent us an email which said I had used the wrong form and then it locked me out I think. I at last struggled to read through loads of stuff that left me speechless. And at the very end you told me the result was normal. This all must have raised my blood pressure. Could you not give two replies one to people who can understand all this computer language and one that says your results in simple language.

• Fantastic Nurse Experience

  I recently took my toddler for his Pre school booster injections. Nurse Michelle Moncur was fantastic, what a lovely, friendly nurse with fantastic bed side manner. She was so kind and really engaged with my little boy. Thank you once again Watton Medical Practice for being great.

  Watton Medical Practise used to have an appaling system for an appointment, where you had to phone to get a doctor and any time of the day to call you back. That has all changed with their online booking, the service is fast and efficient and so far get 5 stars from me.

• This practice is awful

  I don’t have constant access to a telephone during the day, so it is impossible to get a medical issue resolved at this practice. They telephone once, without prior notice and then close the query if I don’t answer even though they have been told I don’t have access to a phone during the day. Give me a date and time for a phone call and I will ensure I am by a phone, but they don’t bother. I have been trying to resolve a medical problem for nearly 5 weeks now and have got nowhere.

• No BSL Interpreter again

  A Deaf Lady attended her appointment today at 4pm . Watton GP Practice. On arrival there was no BSL Interpreter again, this has happened on several occasions. She said that the reception had telephoned DA Languages and they said they had no Interpreter and another appointment has been made for Friday. The lady in question had to wait for 20 mins to be told there was no Interpreter for her. I am aware that it is no fault of the surgery but something needs to be done. Exact wording from the Deaf lady in a text message. Am so fed up again no interpreter nothing!! I cant't take anymore I've has enough am so stress!! They booked me Friday now Interpreter will come Friday am upset in waiting area for 20 mins!!! 2nd Text: Lady say sorry DA Language didnt turn up they phone sorry cancel what going on!!! Am suffering now how mant times I've had with failed Interpreter Pls pls u phone then NOW make sure Interpreter there Friday no cancel I need see Dr!!! As you can see this has caused tremendous stress for this lady, measures need to be put in place now not 2021 the NHS are failing everyday to provide a good standard of service for the Deaf Community.

  I went for blood tests the nurse was great , listened to my problem did all she could to help . The receptionist was a great help but didnt listen to me i needed to speak to a doctor but ignored what i told her didnt hear from the doctor , my anxiety is through the roof , very low , very depressed but did not get the help i needed

• Extremely Quick and Attentive Virtual Service

  I logged a minor medical problem on the online service. I was called the very next morning, spent several minutes discussing the issue with an extremely attentive doctor and within hours had medication. Outstanding!
