  I am found this service absolutely invaluable. Sara was so knowledgeable and also being an x nurse was so informed, friendly and helpful. Thank you all for your help and support we couldn't have managed without you and your action plan - such a simple idea but 100% helpful.

  Speaking on the 'phone with Sarah was easy and very useful. I hadn't really thought that I needed support or information, yet, but I came away with five helpful contacts. I also came away feeling reassured and confident. Thank you!

  When I first spoke to Candice I was at my wits end. As a carer for my mum and with my own serious health issue I didn't know where to turn. Then I spoke to Candice! She was understanding, supportive helpful and efficient. Her empathetic nature brought much needed relief to my position. Thank you Candice.

Being a carer can be very challenging, and having your own health needs must make these challenges even more difficult. • Support in time of need

  Been so worried about myself having to go into Hospital for operation and wondering what will happen to my husband who has Alzheimer’s. He not capable to look after himself. My fears were put to rest after a long discussion today. I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Knowing there is help .not got operation date yet. Hope to be end of the year? Social Services have also given the good news all will be well. They also spoke to me today.

Looking after someone can be really demanding, and it is important in situations like these that you are able to get the right support.   Awful service asked to speak with the manager to be told they don’t deal with any assessments personally and they work in the background. Why is there a service manager if they can’t carry out the services needs and talk with the general public!!!!!!!

  We're sorry you feel you have had a bad experience when contacting us. The assessments and support to carers we provide are delivered by a team specifically trained to do this. This is not a part of the service carried out by managers.

• Help that I didn't know existed.

  I am new to this job as Carer and I have been managing, but didn't realise that there are people around who can help. The gentleman i spoke to took 5 actions which has helped me to feel more able to care for my Wife. We all need charities such as this to help when we find ourselves in a situation, which in our younger years we never thought we would be in.
