I had an initial call from Haley to discuss my role as a carer and to find out what help and support is there for me if I need it in future. She was helpful, friendly and it's so good to know where I can turn to if I need assistance.

Hayley provided immediate practical support and understanding of a wider story of aircrew being damaged by flying in jets - an excellent response.

Karen who I talked to listened, was very patient when I was talking about emotional subjects and even took the time to find extra support for an LGBT+ Carer like myself.

I was a bit nervous about calling to discuss my carers assessment in more detail, but Hayley was kind and friendly and helped me pinpoint things that would help me in my caring role and also support me as a person. I feel much more confident that I will be able to carry on caring knowing that I can call again for advice and support if I need to. Thank you.

It is really important people do know and feel the conversations they have, including the carers assessments, are all about exactly what your have experienced - identifying what will help you in your caring role and as a person who is looking after someone. And do not hesitate to contact us again, we know people's needs and situations can change over time. Advice and support is available.

Very pleased with the help and support from Hayley last week. I called with a question, she explained things well and asked more questions to help me and my wife out. I was feeling solitary but now I feel better……….faith in humanity restored!

We are very glad you found the call so helpful. Being a carer can feel very isolated, and it can be hard to know about all the support available to you. We are pleased to have been able to help you.

I was referred to this service regarding the caring responsibilities for my father in law and spoke with a lady called Rebecca, who was charming, informative and just wonderful to speak with. She was knowledgeable and provided support that neither me or my wife knew existed. It was a pleasure to discuss things with Rebecca and I appreciate the efforts this service clearly provide to know we as carers are listened to. My wife and I thank you.

I have spoken to a few different people now all have been good but I had a review from my old carers assessment with Rebecca and she made me realise that my feelings are valid. Rebecca encouraged me to speak with the wellbeing service that I have now had two sessions and this has been wonderful. Thank you Rebecca for all your support. It means so much.

We are very pleased that you have found this review helpful, and that the support via the wellbeing service is being so beneficial. Circumstances and situations do change, and it is very important that the support carers access changes to reflect their current situations.
