  Today's phone call was excellent. I felt worthy and listened to. So much has happened a short period of time for my mum and me as her support but Karen listened and advised me. I really feel better for speaking to Karen today. My mums care from Norfolk First Support was disappointing. My mother having terminal heart failure, after 3 weeks in hospital, being able to come home with a support package but it didn't go well. Three carers just letting themselves in her home without alerting her by ringing the door bell first. She felt disrespected in her own home by the first 3 carers who did nothing and made various comments which were not appropriate. My mum cancelled her care after just 2 days (4 carer visits). After sitting waiting for a morning call which came at 1.30pm. She was near to tears. However, speaking to Karen today as I try and help my mum, I felt like I was the only person Karen needed to speak to today. She was kind and allowed me to express myself as well as give me advice. As she said in our phone call she would email me with more details, alert Jackie and confirmed my telephone appointment. Which she did. Thank you for listening. Keep up the good work. I really think you made a difference today Karen to my esteem which I passed on to my mum : )

  Shelia had so much sympathy when she spoke to my father. He needs help to look after my mum. He was quite upset on the phone and Sheila was so patient and kind with him.

  This is all new to me but was put at ease. Very compassionate conversation, full of understanding and also helpfully practical at a time where nothing makes sense. Came away from conversation with hope which is a feeling I haven't had for a while.

  After speaking to Samantha, I felt so much better, As a carer for my husband, I felt I wasn't coping very well, and not reacting in a way that I should, she reassured me that I was doing my best, it was ok to get frustrated it's a natural reaction, she gave me lots of information and suggested places I could try to get some time off on my own, just talking to someone just helps some times thank you
