  Had a neurological problem after a fall. The reception staff did everything to get me in to see doctors etc. when I saw my GP Dr Voight she couldn’t have done more. She organised tests etc and ensured I went to ED with a letter immediately and asked for a CT scan. The scan showed I had a bleed on the brain. Thankfully I was moved to Addenbrooke’s where I underwent successful surgery. I’m now recovering. I cannot stress how wonderful the surgery were and particularly Dr Voight

  I had two appointments with Dr Fallon. Each one with follow on attention/referral. Ie blood test and then physio. Very comprehensive information and discussion given with compassion. Exceptional. Thank you.

  I have been having some ongoing issues for the last year and have seen a number of GPs at the surgery over this time. Most recently, I have seen one of the newer registrars and she has been absolutely amazing, taking the time to really listen and to want to help. It's thanks to her that a hospital appointment I'd waited close on 10 months for finally came through - for which I'm very grateful! She has been incredibly thorough and understanding during each appointment I've had with her and that has made a world of difference. I'm not sure if she is on a placement with being a registrar, but she is a real asset to the surgery so I do hope she has a permanent role ahead there. Things have also been made easier for me during my visits over the last couple of months by being able to see this same doctor to follow up instead of having to go back over things again with a different GP. This hasn't always been the case in the past, but having several appointments with the same doctor more recently has been a very positive experience. It would be good if the surgery could try to look at setting up appointments with the same doctor automatically when you call to make one so that you have continuity of care if it's flagged for an ongoing issue (not necessarily for new issues). It really can make such a difference to patients. I do realise that all of the doctors at the surgery have access to your notes, but I personally find that having to tell the same back story over and over each time you visit in order to clarify your current situation is less than ideal, regardless of the notes on the system. It also saves time during the appointment for both the patient and the GP, so it can only be a positive thing when trying to fit so many people in to be seen during the day. I don't know if the surgery aims to do this usually, but prior to my more recent visits I don't think I saw the same GP twice over a number of appointments and a number of months for this same issue. Apart from that, I've been very happy with the care received and have had no trouble making the follow up appointments needed when they've been called for. This has certainly been an improvement I've noticed in more recent months as it did used to be quite challenging to be seen on occasion prior to this. Thank you again!

  Wonderful friendly, approachable and helpful reception staff. Dr. Fallon has an amazing ability to put you at your ease and fill you with total confidence. A tremendous skill. She is simply superb. I trust she continues to thrive at A&E. Everyone is in very safe & caring hands.

  On moving to the area Dr. Douglass rang me on a Saturday and spent 20 minutes running through my medical history in a very thorough way. Tremendous and unprecedented service. Thank you.

  Follow up with Dr, following consult with Asthma nurse. Very helpful with ongoing cough. Good conversation about onward treatment. Did not feel hurried at all, appointment on time.

  Really pleased with the care I recieved . The receptionist is friendly , helpful Getting.an appointment is stressfree. and Carl is really approachable , friendly and professional explaining in a understandable way . I am new patient to the practise and couldn't be happier. Like a breath of fresh air . Not treated Like a number . Thankyou
